The short version
CENTUM is a 100-day fitness challenge tracker for web and iOS. We collect the information you enter — your account details, the fitness and challenge data you log, and anything you post to a team — so the app can track your progress, coach you, and let you share with the teammates you choose. We do not run ads, we do not use tracking SDKs, and we do not sell your data. You can export everything as JSON or delete your account entirely, both from Settings, at any time.
What we collect
Grouped by what it is:
- Account: your email, your name, and an optional profile photo (avatar).
- Fitness & challenge data: daily task completion, workouts and exercises, meals and their nutrition macros, body weight, body measurements, sleep, water intake, and any progress photos you upload.
- Social content: the teams you create or join, and the posts, photos, comments, and reactions you add to them.
- AI coach chat: the messages you send to the in-app AI coach, kept so the coach has context for your conversation.
- Diagnostics: anonymous crash and error reports (via Sentry) so we can fix bugs. These carry the technical fault — never your logged data. You can turn them off in Settings → Privacy.
Why we collect it
To provide the service, and only that: to render your dashboard, calendar, and history; to calculate your calorie and macro targets; to generate AI coach replies and training plans; to power team leaderboards and feeds; and to keep the app reliable. We do not collect anything we do not need to run these features.
What we don't do
We do not run third-party advertising SDKs. We do not use tracking pixels or collect cross-app advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID). We do not sell your data or share it with data brokers.
Who processes your data for us
We rely on a small number of service providers to run CENTUM. Each handles only what its role requires:
- Convex — our backend and database; stores your account and logged data.
- Vercel — hosts and serves the CENTUM web app.
- Google (Gemini API) — powers the AI coach, plan generation, and nutrition-label scanning.
- Resend — sends transactional email such as sign-in links.
- Sentry — receives anonymous crash and error reports when you have them enabled.
AI processing
When you use the AI coach or scan a nutrition label, your message text and any label image are processed by Google's Gemini API to provide the feature. Google acts as our processor for this: under the paid API terms we use, your content is not used to train Google's models. Treat AI responses as general guidance, not professional advice — they can be wrong.
What your teammates can see
Teams are private groups you choose to join. Inside a team, your challenge activity — day completion, current streak, and points — is visible to other members according to the sharing toggles in Settings → Teams & sharing (found on the Social page). Body data such as weight, measurements, calories, and photos is never shared automatically; it only appears in a team if you deliberately attach it to a post. Posts and comments you write are visible to everyone in that team.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. When you delete your account we remove every record tied to you — including your team memberships, posts, comments, and reactions — and backups roll off within 30 days.
Your rights
You are in control of your data and can act on it directly in the app:
- Export: Settings → Privacy → Export my data downloads a complete JSON snapshot of your profile, days, meals, weights, presets, templates, and coach messages.
- Delete: Settings → Account → Delete account permanently and immediately erases your account and all of its data. This cannot be undone, and your email becomes available to register again.
If you are in the EU/UK you have additional rights under GDPR (access, rectification, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority); if you are in California you have parallel rights under CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any right not covered by the in-app tools, email us at the address below.
Children
CENTUM is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision, and we will flag material changes the next time you open the app.
Governing law
This policy and any dispute relating to it are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction pending], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where local consumer-protection law grants you stronger rights.
